Thanks China.
Massive headache. Feels like a tiny knife being stabbed over and over again into the left temple. Not hungry for the past two days. I spent yesterday and most of the night asleep, only waking up to stagger to the head.
This morning I only managed to eat half a sausage roll.
The the amount of typos in this post is pissing me off. Is that a sign of Covid-19 as well? I don’t know. Yesterday, my balance was fucked up with the headache affecting my ear.
The weird thing is, I don’t know where I caught it.
“COVID-19 symptoms vary from person to person, and so does the time it takes for the symptoms to appear. In general, it may take between two to 14 days after exposure to COVID-19 for symptoms to appear. According to the WHO, on average it may take 5-6 days for symptoms to appear.
Symptom onset also depends on the variant to which one is exposed. The incubation period for the Delta variant was shorter than the previous variants, and for Omicron it appears to be about three days, on average.
Some people have mild to moderate symptoms including fever, cough, tiredness, loss of taste or smell, sore throat, aches, and pains, while others may have more serious symptoms.“

I didn’t have a fever until three days later. Aches and pains on Thursday night, tiredness (yes, I had to push myself, using the desk, to get to my feet). I was falling asleep during breaks when I should have been writing. If this takes three days then I caught it on Monday. I just checked my schedule for last Monday, and only 2 students were new to me. One adult who brought her kid to the class and one child, around 8.
Everyone seemed fine.

When I caught COVID, I narrowed it down to a tech who came to install fibre at the bookshop on a Tuesday and I tested positive that Thursday. That’s the only person I didn’t know that was near me, and I took my mask off briefly to eat a cupcake while he was in the shop – about the same time he coughed and adjusted his mask!
Hopefully, you’ll recover fast. I didn’t get many symptoms really but man I was tired all the time and had no energy, also had a migraine with it rather than the headache other people got. On the plus side, neither C nor B caught it!
Rest! Don’t push yourself. Sending love from us in UH. 🙂
Thanks Cat.
My symptoms seem to be the same as yours. The headache was unbearable. I thought my skull was going to crack open. And the lack of energy was just as draining. Two days ago, I felt fine so I decided to mow the lawn. Cutting was fine but raking up killed me. I took a break every five minutes, then decided on a 20 minute break in front of the fan. I felt like I was going to throw up. 30 minutes later, I finished the job. Ha!
